Dr. Ivan Sini, SpOG
Dr Ivan Sini is an Obstetrician Gynaecologist whose vast experience in women’s health. His 10 years practicing experience in Australia has brought a different level of medical service to Indonesian since his return in 2005.
He is a well-known and respected specialist both in Indonesia and Internationally. He has been invited to speak in various international congresses and events to share his experience in the area advanced infertility treatment such as In Vitro Fertilization (IVF), Minimal Invasive Surgery (Laparoscopy) particularly in complex endometriosis, Laparoscopic Hysterectomy and Robotic Surgery.
Dr Ivan Sini was born from a medical family, in which somehow brought the influence to his career development. In 1996 after graduating from Faculty of Medicine University of Indonesia he took his medical career overseas. He started his O&G residency program in Adelaide Women’s and Children Hospital. He became A Fellow of Royal Australian New Zealand College of Obstetrician and Gynaecologist in 2003 and pursued his subspecialty interest in infertility management with the Repromed Australia. He completed his Graduate Diploma in Reproductive Medicine with University of Western Sydney shortly after. He took an appointment as a visiting consultant at the Royal Darwin Hospital in 2004 during the year he received a Australian Young Gynaecologist Award. He completed his Master Degree in Minimal Invasive Surgery from University of Adelaide, Australia in 2014 where he received the Covidien Scholarship Award. Currently he is working on his PhD at the University of Indonesia.
He has received numerous awards and research grants including Ernst and Young Entrepreneurship Award in 2011 and Research grant from Philips International in the pilot study in Padang investigating application of mobile apps in reducing maternal mortality in Indonesia (MOM Project).
His currently an executive board member of Asian Society of Gynecology Robotic Surgeons (ASGRS) and country representative at Asia Pacific Initiative on Reproduction (ASPIRE).
Since his return and completed his adaptation program at University of Indonesia, he has many clinical, training, education and management activities. His clinical role as one of the leading infertility specialist has taken much of his time to provide services to women and couples who continue to struggle in conceiving.. Currently he practices at Bunda Hospital Jakarta and Morula IVF Jakarta.
He holds business position as President Commisary at Bundamedik and CEO at Morula Indonesia, where he oversee a large group of business activities in healthcare in Indonesia
Dr Ivan Sini is married and blessed with three children. His previous passion in music and computer science has never gone away. He appeared in Jak Jazz and Java Jazz festival in 2006 and 2007 with his musical colleague.
